The World is experiencing growing health challenges and there have been large and abrupt changes in policies and financing of global health and development. There have also been shifts in public perception on health, often fuelled by mis- and dis-information. These changes impact public health, health security, global solidarity, and trust in scientific knowledge. NPHIs have a central role to play in understanding this changing context and in analysing and generating evidence to inform policies that can help build resilience, support prevention, mitigate impact and strengthen response capability. This session presented a situation analysis and then had a panel discussion with the floor.

Moderator: Prof. Neil Squires, IANPHI Secretary General
