General Assembly December 2025
On December 16, 2025, the International Association of National Public Health Institutes (IANPHI) held its general assembly online, bringing together members from across regions to review progress and take key decisions for the future.
The assembly confirmed strong engagement across the network, with quorum reached and all agenda items validly adopted. Members were presented with highlights from 2025, reflecting continued growth, collaboration, and support to national public health institutes worldwide.
A central focus of the meeting was the presentation of the IANPHI Strategy 2026–2030, which sets out priorities to strengthen national public health institutes, enhance collaboration, and reinforce preparedness for future health challenges.
Members then approved the 2024 final accounts, the 2026 budget, and membership dues, ensuring the organization's financial sustainability. Two new IANPHI Executive Board members, Prof. Vivian Kourí Cardellá and Dr. Bernardo Hernandez Prado, were elected, with a third position to be filled at the next general assembly in 2026.
The network also expanded with the approval of five new members, further strengthening IANPHI’s global reach.
The meeting concluded with recognition of outstanding member initiatives through the IANPHI Recognition of Success 2025 and the announcement of upcoming annual meetings in 2026 (Dubai) and 2027 (San Salvador).
