Ethiopia

The Ethiopian Health and Nutrition Research Institute (EHNRI) is a trusted technical arm of the Ministry of Health, with deep roots in public health research and reference laboratory services. Over time, the institute's mandate has expanded to include other public health functions such as disease surveillance.

As part of a government-wide reorganization, EHNRI has taken on new and expanded responsibilities.  IANPHI is working with EHNRI to address key needs resulting from its new mandate.
