Plan for NPHI development
Morocco has begun planning for development of a national public health institute that will build on the work currently underway through the National Institute of Hygiene in coordination with the Institut Pasteur du Maroc. An IANPHI grant funded workshops leading to the development of a strengthened NPHI. The National Institute of Hygiene will use its funds to continue progress on plans to strengthen public health infrastructure in the country and build its technical capability to respond to disease threats in Morocco. Public health experts from the United States and Norway represented IANPHI at high-level meetings regarding the establishment of the NPHI.
