Webinar: Global Environmental Health and Sustainable Development Innovation Collaborative Roundtable on Environmental Health Sciences, Research, and Medicine

Join in the first webinar in a 3-part series hosted by the Global Environmental Health and Sustainable Development Innovation Collaborative, under the coordination of the Roundtable on Environmental Health Sciences, Research, and Medicine (EHSRM Roundtable) of the Institute of Medicine.
The webinar series will focus on the United Nations post-2015 development agenda process—a process that will advance a new development agenda for the world as the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) reach the target date of 2015. The aim of the webinars is to engage members of academia, government organizations, professional societies, and students at schools of public health in dialogue around health, economic development, equity, sustainability, and environmental challenges and to stimulate fresh thinking on possible solutions.

The webinars will take place from 11 am - 12:30 pm Eastern Time on the Third Thursday of October, November, and December 2012.
The first webinar in the 3-part series will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012.

This webinar will focus on understanding the post-2015 development agenda process and opportunities and challenges that lay ahead. A draft webinar agenda is available online. The 3-part webinar series is free and open to the public. Registration is now available for the first webinar. A link to the webinar will be provided on the website the day of the event. Additionally, those who register will have the link emailed to them before the start of the webinar. Registration is not required to participate in the webinar, but is strongly recommended. For updates about the webinar series, follow @theIOM on Twitter using the hashtag #post2015.
