National Laboratories and Health Institutes Administration (Administracion Nacional de Laboratorios e Institutots de Salud - ANLIS) works in cooperation with units of the Ministry of the Provincial States and other national and international entities. ANLIS oversees the National Reference Laboratory and ensures quality diagnosis in the country; coordinates the investigation of diseases and their consequences; and supervises the development and quality control of biological products and conducts research for the development of new products.
